North Beach Park to Glass Beach

This is a 5.6 mile out and back hike on the beach with possible wet conditions and slippery seaweed and rocks. 3 miles one way. Elevation gain is nearly level with about 150 feet. Meet at 5787 Kuhn street, Port Townsend, parking lot. Take hwy 3 to the hood canal bridge, follow 104 and take a right onto 19 towards port townsend turns into 20 and then discovery road, take a left onto san juan ave, san juan turns into 49th, take the first right and follow to the north beach parking lot. if it happens to be high tide, we’ll get wet feet and have to climb over trees and such. if it’s low tide, we’ll find pieces of sea glass. dress warm and have water proof shoes if possible. beautiful views along the way.
